You can try this:

Right click C drive>Properties>Tools>Check now

or you could try chkdsk in command prompt

There are other tools available for this (such as the corrupted drive "fix" in Seagate Seatools or Western Digital Data Lifeguard Diagnostics)

How did you find out that the drive was corrupted?  Where did the error message come from?  What were you doing when the error came up?

My browser caused a flood of traffic, sio my IP address was banned. Hope to fix it soon. Will get back to posting as soon as Im able.

I found this out for sure when I tried to back up to an external drive, lots of windows backups were skipped because they were on a corrupted drive C.  I haven been having trouble for quite some time - 1 year or more - and the deadly blue screen has appears tons of times.  The PC hardly works.  I know I could buy another, but would like to fix this one.

Try what gigawert suggested, that's the best way.
Then try running Seagate Seatools (it's free) - if it detects corruptions that it can fix, it'll offer to fix them (but if it doesn't find anything to fix, then it won't say anything).

Beyond that, let's have a look at this:

Please provide this information so we can provide a complete analysis (from the Pinned Topic at the top of the forum):  http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/576314/blue-screen-of-death-bsod-posting-instructions-windows-10-81-8-7-vista/

Another vote for Seatools!

Just do a CHKDSK /R from an elevated command prompt, then clone the disk to an SSD.  Cheers.
