My MacBook Pro is just taking forever to follow.  It is regularly just stalling in thinking mode.  It comes back to normal and then suddenly, it just freezes for a minute again intermittently.

Also, I am having a hard time clicking with the cursor online.  It also just takes forever to naviagate.

Can you please offer some assistance?

Thanks so much,

Have you tried with Bitdefender  or Sophos ? Make sure you've updated them first before scanning.
