This is my second time getting such error. Each time after i get it, after the computer restart, weird stuff happens. The first time I had it, my antivurses both MBAM Premium (trial) and MSE had problems.

MBAM crashed twice while MSE was disabled, the second time i got it was utter chaos after the restart. It was ablack screen, aero extensions for windows were off, explorer crashed, driver library something also crashed, everything basically crashed. The computer was not responsive at all, I couldn't even see my desktop, just ablack screen with the crash messages and the taskbar. After restarting windows got back to normal, but It hanged up after loading a certain program. I waited a wihle and saw it istalling 5-6 drivers for my keyboard at the same time, when the driver for it was already installed...

I immidietely unplugged my keyboard and connected a really old one until I understand whats going on and restarted again my computer. Luckily no problems have occured to me.

I've explained most of the stuff in another post on this site (http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/584032/win-7-weird-behaviour/) Please read it to get more information on what is going on with my system.

· OS - Windows 7 x64
· What was original installed OS on system? I'm not sure, my computer is really old, could be Win XP or Win 7.
· Is the OS an OEM version (came pre-installed on system) or full retail version (YOU purchased it from retailer)?

Currently I'm running a non-activated version of Windows 7. My system came with a pre-installed OS.

· Age of system (hardware) Everything, except the hard disk is since 2008-2009. Hard disk is around 2012-2013
· Age of OS installation - have you re-installed the OS? Yes, 3 days ago I believe, less than a week for sure.

· CPU - AMD Phenom 9550 Quad core 2.2ghz
· Video Card - Nvidia 9800 GT (512mb)
· MotherBoard - Gigabyte MA78GPM-DS2H
· Power Supply - I've changed around 3-4 of those, I have no idea. I just know that the fan is not working, but the turbo fan works (there is a red button that when you click, boosts up the fans or starts a second fan, I'm not sure. It blows a bit, enough to keep it from overheating.)

· System Manufacturer - I've ordered the stuff myself, so there is no manufacturer.
· Exact model number - As I said, its custom made.

· Laptop or Desktop? Desktop.

Please activate Windows.  Then provide this report:

License Information (Windows 7 and earlier)

Please provide the MGADiag report according to these instructions (from this post: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/165472-product-key-number-uninstall-deactivate-windows-3.html#post1767989 ):

To properly analyse and solve problems with Activation and Validation, we need to see a full copy of the report produced by the MGADiag tool (download and save to desktop - http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=52012 )
Once saved, run the tool.
Click on the Continue button, which will produce the report.
To copy the report to your response, click on the Copy button in the tool (ignore any error messages at this point), and then paste (using either r-click/Paste, or Ctrl+V ) into your response.

Your UEFI/BIOS (version F6h) dates from 2010.  Please check at the manufacturer's website to see if there are any UEFI/BIOS updates available for your system.  If you are able to install the update through Windows (without booting from an external drive), then go ahead and update it.  WARNING - if the computer might shut down during this procedure, please don't do it, as this may physically damage the computer and prevent it from booting.

Only 144 Windows Updates installed.  Most systems have 300 or more.  Please visit Windows Update and get ALL available updates (it may take several trips to get them all).

WER section of MSINFO32 shows a BSOD of STOP 0x7a with a status of "Device not connected" - I suspect a hard drive problem because of this.  Let's see what the memory dumps have to say.

Please update these older drivers. Links are included to assist in looking up the source of the drivers. If unable to find an update, please remove (un-install) the program responsible for that driver. DO NOT manually delete/rename the driver as it may make the system unbootable! :

If updating the above stuff doesn't help, then I'd suggest these free hardware diagnostics:  http://www.carrona.org/hwdiag.html

Start with the hard drive diagnostics, then the memory diagnostics, then Prime95, then the rest of the tests.

Hello John!

I'm planning on staying with the trial I got. Later this summer I will be buying a laptop with Windows 7 license on it.

I have installed all the drivers you've listed, except for one: AtiPcie.sys

The AMD utility that automatically detects my drivers could not detect my OS (Probably because its a trial), so I had to download all the drivers manually, but could not find this one.

I do not have any ATI video card or intel chipset, do I actually need this drive? If I do not, how do I remove it as I do not know which program is using it.

There hasn't been any problems with my computer since the updates, but I will run a Hard disk check from its manfucaturer's site just to make sure everything is ok.

Thank you for your support!

I wouldn't worry about the ATIPcie.sys driver at this time.
They were mentioned because of their age - but the age for that one isn't all that critical in a Win7 system.

Still going to need the MGADiag report even if the OS isn't activated.

Thank you again for helping me out!

I ran 3 different scanners for my Hard drive (1 of which is the Windows one), everything passed. Initial Windows scan detected some stuff and fixed them, the rest scanners detected nothing.

Cheers!
