Computer Is non responsive after failed Malwarebytes scan

My Computer  has become  non responsive after a  failed Malwarebytes scan. After turning off and on,  Windows starts ok, but trying to start any programs, Control panel, etc has been unsuccessful, eg, clicking on Control Panel results in "Control Panel not responding" and the hour glass is there forever.

 

Help me please
