Hello everyone I'm new here. I found your site yesterday seraching for virus problems on Google and I have to say that this is a really nice place with a lot of guides and helpfull topics. I have already read the Welcome Guide and some topics from the Security area but now I'm a little confused about in which topic should I post if I have any problem. In Am I infected? What do I do?, in Virus, Trojan, Spyware, and Malware Removal Logs, or should I follow step by step the Preparation Guide For Use Before Using Malware Removal Tools and Requesting Help even it is a generic solution not for a specific problem?

A little about me:

My name is George and next month I'll be 22 years old, I'm Romanian but I live in Italy since 2003. I'm not very good at computers but I do my best and try to improve every day.

I use Malwarebytes Anti-Malware, CCleaner and this morning I uninstalled AVG becouse it went crazy, but I can't uninstall AVG Web TuneUp neither from Control Panel, nor C:\Program Files (x86)\AVG Web TuneUp\Uninstall.exe nor with CCleaner...

This is my PC

Have a nice day,

:welcome: to Bleeping Computer.

How to uninstall AVG Web TuneUp
How to uninstall AVG Web TuneUp and SecureSearch from your browser

If you need individual assistance with malware infection, you should start a new topic in the Am I infected? What do I do? forum

OR follow the instructions provided in the Malware Removal and Log Section Preparation Guide starting at Step 6.
  • If you cannot complete a step, then skip it and continue with the next.
  • In Step 6 there are instructions for downloading and running FRST which will create two logs.
If you choose to post a log in the Virus, Trojan, Spyware, and Malware Removal Logs forum, NOT here, for assistance by the Malware Response Team. After doing that, please reply back in this thread with a link to the new topic so we can closed this one.

Thank you for your reply I've already uninstall AVG Web TuneUp.

Fortunately I don't need any help no more, I found a usefull topic and I complete all the steps until the ComboFix scan and the computer is running smooth now. If anyone wants to have a look I have all the reports (AdwCleaner, RogueKiller, JRT, Combofix).

Thank you again quietman7 and have a nice day,

George

You're welcome.

BTW....logs from  tools like AdwCleaner, RogueKiller, JRT, and Combofix are not permitted in this forum.
