I have a new laptop from toshiba, an m65 s9092. I am having a problem with it already!

The computer goes very slowly. Compared to any computer I have used in the past every single task takes much more time!

I ran norton disk doctor and It showed me some serious errors! I am including them below, as well as a hijackthis list as well!

I have run chkdsk at startup several times already, and after it reboots and goes back to the system I check it again with disk doctor and it reports even more errors!! :flowers:

When I try to tell disk doctor to run at startup instead chdsk loads but same errors are reported! How can I check in windows for surface errors like bad sectors etc?

This computer is new I cannot believe Toshiba would send out a broken computer right off the bat!!

thanks for any help guys!

i see the post was moved I am sorry I did not want to post it in the hijack forum because I was not yet sure if there is really a problem with spyware or if it is related to something else.

I ran chkdsk with all options enabled over the entire nite. I loaded it up back in windows and did a disk doctor can and IT STILL FOUND ERRORS!!!

Hi and welcome to Bleeping Computer! My name is Sam and I will be helping you.

Your log is clean. I don't find any signs of malware. Your problem wouldn't seem to be indicative of malware.

I'd recommend that you post into the XP forum and work through your problem there.

Good luck! :flowers:

Failing to respond back to the person that is giving up their own time to help you not only is insensitive and disrespectful, but it guarantees that you will never receive help from me again. Please thank your helpers and there will always be help here when you need it!
