Greetingt To You All. I am Nayei and I am spending my first day here looking into the problem of pop ups appearing at upwanted times while on the internet. It is my opinion that my nephew did allowed this browser hijacker to have access to the computer they use by accident.

Now I am trying everything from a-squared (it found nothing) to AdAware and Spybot (which will be tried next on a Windows 98 machine and AVG. If that does not work then Macfee Avert gets a crack at it and if that does not work, then I am going to use Hijack This because I will have no other avenue to turn to for help.

Any post filled with advice on vanquishing these repeated pop ups, again caused by a browser hijacker in my opinion, will be helpful.

Thansks,

Nayei

before you try HijackThis, you could always try the 'Am I Infected Forum'.... click Here
This would be the next stage for you i think.
Good luck

Run the anti-spyware applications and AVG first; if these do not get rid of the popups, then post about what kind they are in the Am I Infected forum.
