I have a "Acer T272HL bmidz 27-Inch Touch Screen. Trying to get the touch srceen working i do not want to use the wrong usb port idk if it might hurts my monitor or my pc... ok do i use the 1  fast charge usb 3.0 or 2 standard usb 3.0 ports??? there is also a port that looks like a printer usb port manual says that port is optional,, optional for what?? whats the fast charge usb used for?

INSTALLATION
To install the monitor to your host system, please follow the steps as given
below:
Steps
1. 1-1
Connect Video Cable
a. Make sure both the monitor and computer are powered-OFF.
b. Connect the VGA video cable to the computer.
1-2
Connect Digital Cable (Only Dual-Input Model)
a. Make sure both the monitor and computer are powered-OFF.
b. Connect one end of the 24-pin DVI cable to the back of the
monitor and connect the other end to the computer's port.
1-3
Connect HDMI Cable (Only HDMI-Input Model)
a. Make sure both the monitor and computer are powered-OFF.
b. Connect the HDMI cable to the computer.
2. 2-1
Connect the USB Cable(Optional)
2-2 Connect the USB 3.0 cable to port for fast charge.
2-3 Connect the USB 3.0 cable to port.
3.Connect the Audio Cable(Only Audio-Input Model)(Optional)
4. Connect
power adapter and power cord
Connect the pow
a properly grounded AC outlet.
5. Power-ON Monitor and Computer
Power-ON the monitor first, then power-ON the computer.
This sequence is very important.
6. If the monitor still does not function properly, please refer to the
troubleshooting section to diagnose the problem.

Acer doesnt ever show any support or i can not even find Bmidz i have asked this same question orther places all they said was use USB i know i need to use usb but which one or how many do i use..
 
any help would be great

Hello Chris.  Connecting this monitor to your computer is largely going to depend on what ouputs you have on your computer.  Do you have USB 3.0 connector on your computer?  If you do then you connect the USB 3.0 cable to the USB 3.0 connector on the back/bottom of the monitor.  This turns the other USB connectors on your monitor into a USB 3.0 Port hub.  I would not connect it to the fast charging port on your computer if it has one. 

 

You only use ONE of the cables to connect the video to your computer.  Either HDMI / VGA or DVI.  (since you do not provide us with what kind of video port is on your computer we cannot advise you on which one to use.  I would say use the DVI if you have it.

 

The audio cable connects to your computer also probably to the headphone jack since it is a single RCa connector.  Again you do not state what kind of computer or outputs you have on your computer so it is difficult to help you.

As for 3.0 USB port on my computer ill have to look 

Oh sry i didnt know i needed to add the video ports i have all 3 HDMI / VGA or DVI
