From what I understand recently FireFox has waged a campaign against Flash's implementation in their browser, but I have been having this issue before that even began.

Flash often crashes on my FireFox on my desktop at home and I have to submit crash reports daily.  In my plugins I see Flash appearing twice as both a version 17 and a version 18, and both ask me to update.  I select and download the update but nothing happens, I uninstalled Flash using Adobe's uninstaller and I also uninstalled FireFox, but upon reinstallation I am having the same issues.
