I'm looking at this system.  I would appreciate any advice/recommendations about it.  I use a system I put together 9

years ago and it is getting a little tired.  I'm playing more games now, such as The Forest, Crysis III, etc.  I'd like a good system for games of that genre.

I have a 1T HD and a GTX560Ti in my current system.  Both the MB and CPU are original from the build in 2006.

I'm curious as to where you found it listed for $650 and if it is a NEW computer.

Thanks...but I can't find it. Care to share a link to the computer? I'm seriously interested in purchasing it....I think it is a big bang for the buck.

I don't think it's that good (or, at least, it's nothing special), and also, I'd wait for Skylake

I think that for around $800 you can get a much much faster gaming pc. The good thing with PCs is that you can get good infrastructure and then adding a little more to the GPU price, though costs a lot by itself, results in a much higher performance/price ratio

Not saying that it's necessary..

It seems a bit too cheap, in my opinion. All that and a bluray drive and a 4 gig video card? Oh wait, it says Alienware, no wonder it is so cheap.

I believe you can build a better quality system than that for the same money.

No it isn't. A dated i5 would be a i5-2450 for example. This one is a 4th gen CPU.
