Hello all, I am selling my laptop because it simply isn't good enough for gaming.  I have found 2 new laptop that I will be buying and I have found them both for the same price, so now I want to know which is better for gaming.  Anyways here are the specifications.

System 1, Acer Aspire V7-482PG-5842 (Model with 4GB vram):

Intel Core i5-4200U 1.6 GHz (2.6 GHz Turbo) (3 MB Cache)
500 GB 5400 rpm Hard Drive
14-Inch Screen, NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M 4GB
Windows 8.1, 8-hour battery life

System 2, Lenovo Y40 Laptop Computer - 59423034:

Intel core i7 4510U 2.0 GHz (3.10GHz turbo)

8 GB Ram

Radeon R9 M275 2GB GDDR5

Windows 8.1

Thanks for any answers you guys have!

Yes the Y40 is the better of the two but you still may not be happy, to get into a lappy that will do really well you have to part with some bigger bucks.  Unless you have to have a laptop I would look at a tower, it will give you better performance for the $ and will allow upgrading.  With a lap top you are pretty much stuck with what you bought!

Yeah the Y40 is a better machine but not very gaming friendly.  Don't forget that laptops just aren't as powerful as a normal machine.  So you always want to shoot for the highest videocard you can get.
