A few weeks ago I had to do a restore on my computer because it wouldn't load up when I restarted it. Ever since then, random stuff will be happening when I'm typing. Especially when using Chrome. I'll be typing and a popup menu that you typically left click for will pop up. An HTML screen will open up. The tab I have opened up will even close as I'm typing. Other times the curser will just go to another part of the paragraph I'm typing. I can't figure out how to stop this. Anyone have any ideas?

A little more information would be useful to get started with. Make and model of computer, desktop or laptop ?

Do these problems only happen in Chrome or do they happen regardless of the application you are running ?  Have you tried using a different browser ?

By restore do you mean that you did a system restore to a previous date, or did you use the system recovery partition to reinstall the operating system?

Please download and install Speccy to provide us with information about your computer.  Clicking on this link will automatically initiate the download.

When Speccy opens you will see a screen similar to the one below.

Click on File which is outlined in red in the screen above, and then click on Publish Snapshot.

The following screen will appear, click on Yes.

I pretty much do all of my computing online so I've only seen it happen online. And as for restoring it, I didn't restore to a restore point, it was restoring to what it was like when I brought it home from Best Buy. It's an HP Laptop.

Just for clarification.  A system restore is where you use a restore point to roll back the operating system to a previous date.  A system recovery is where you use the recovery partition to return the operating system to the condition it was in when it came out of the box.

Please run the Speccy snapshot.
