I am running Windows XP SP3. I am on comcast cable internet with a Asus RT-AC66R. All my devices including this PC are connected by wifi.

The PC is running very well, I use and have run ccleaner, JRT, adwcleaner. I have comodo firewall and the problem happens whether comodo and my antivirus are on or off, no change either way. I am having no other issues with this pc at the moment.

The only problem I am having is accessing a few websites on this one particular PC, I have no problems accessing secure websites either. What I am getting is error "website took too long to respond"

If I use one of my other devices on the network such as a laptop or tablet I have no problem accessing the website.

I have tried resetting router and modem. I have also tried flushing ip flush dns. I have even tried an alternate usb wifi adapter.

The problem comes and goes sometimes it will access the website without issue then a couple moments later it will give the error again.

Thanks in advance for any ideas!

I'm still having this issue. Any ideas what I can to to try and resolve this. Besides sometimes having issues accessing a couple of websites the pc is running great. All other devices on my network have no issues. If anyone could give me any suggestions I would appreciate it very much. Thanks!

Ok, so after trying countless things and contacting my ISP as well as webhost to try and resolve this with no luck at all. I finally got it to work properly!! I used a program called tcpoptimizer to adjust my mtu (+ whatever else it does, I just followed the directions). It works great now.
