I am concerned about my email address going viral.  Does Bleeping Computer keep my email address confidential and not share with any other entity?  I have another address that I created in Yahoo back in 1999 and it has gone terribly viral.

Edit: Moved topic from Introductions to the more appropriate forum. ~ Animal

Your email address that you use to register at BC is confidential and not shared with other parties. So there is no need to be worried about it ending up in hands of a third-party.

A good way to keep your main email address(es) from being sold or getting spammed by websites is when first creating an account is to use an ALIAS ACCOUNT. An entirely new email

address just for that forum/ website. If it becomes spammy...then you can just delete the account.

Having said the above, been a member here for 9 years and NEVER got any spam in the email address I gave.
