I found this program listed on the BC webpage, is this legit?  If it is good, would you recommend it for an intermediate computer user?

Hi rlight :)

Can you link the page where this program is listed on BleepingComputer? This site doesn't support the usage of such programs, so I doubt it recommends it.

Hello,

You probably saw one of the Google Ads that appear when you are not logged in.

Bleeping Computer DOES NOT support the use of registry cleaners.

For the reasons stated in the link above, please stay away from RegCurePro and products similar to it.

Your link points to the advanced search feature of the forum. If you saw RegCurePro on this page, it means that it was an Ad like Alex explained above.

I am having a problem linking the page where I found it.  I was not logged into BC and I entered Flash Player in the search window and the Regcurepro came up under 'Fix Flash Player".

Did it open a new page to show you that, or were you still on BleepingComputer's website?

BC has one advertisement as blocked by uBlock but i'm not sure is that ad that you mentioned.

You need to log out to see ads, Firehouse. Registered members do not see ads.

I fully agree with the contents of the link provided by Alexstrasza #3, but out of curiosity I just went to the 'Downloads' section and entered 'RegCure' into the search box - no hits. That seems conclusive, it must have been a stray advert you saw.
