Steam .scr file

so , someone pmed to trade on csgo,
his profile was private, he gave me a .scr file to check on his inventory,
but then i carelessly pressed on them and it downloaded a .scr file but i didnt run them.
I didnt run the program, so does it mean that my account is still safe?

Can you upload the .scr file to VirusTotal and post the report link here?




Normally, if you didn't open it, you are safe. But there are a couple of exceptions, depending on the nature of the file.
