hello mates , i am a debutant to bleeping computers . your assistance will be highly appreciated

my first question is about backing up the registry, whats the difference between backup in system properties and that one in system restore

What do you mean by "backup in System Properties"?

Hi brainiac2 :)

I guess you are talking about the System Protection tab in Advanced System Settings, which you can find in the System properties panel. There's no difference between this option and the System Restore as this is part of the System Restore. If you click on the Create... button you'll create a restore point, and the Manage... options leads to the settings of the System Restore feature.
