Hi it may be a silly question but i have just brought my nephew a laptop and he wants to use skype but has just found out it has to be paid for can i pay for it on my credit card and is there more than one type of skype thanks if you can help ?

Skype is free to use when you call other users using the Skype application. However, if you want to call phone numbers, you have to pay, yes (because you need credit for calls). You can download and install Skype for free from the official website:
