We used to have a thread where everyone posted what extensions they use with Firefox.
I guess it's been removed due to maintenance, so I wanted to start a new one.

Please list the extensions you use, with a link if possible, and what the extension does.

Firefox Extensions

I use:
IE View - Lets you load pages in IE with a single right-click, or mark certain sites to *always* load in IE. Useful for incompatible pages, or cross-browser testing.
BBCode - Adds BBCode/HTML/XHTML formating to the context menu for forums like Mozillazine.
Siteadvisor - SiteAdvisor is a downloadable tool that works with Firefox to help you:
Stay safe while you browse, stay safe while you search, and click to see a site's report page.

I use;
McAfee SiteAdvisor (love it!)
IE Tab
Fasterfox (not sure how much difference there actually is with dial up)
Forecastfox
Open Profile Folder (like it for backup)
Smiley Xtra
SmoothWheel

Am waiting to see what comes built into the 2.0 version before I add anymore.

Order shall return.

IE Tab This is a great tool for web developers, since you can easily see how your webpage displayed in IE with just one click and then switch back to Firefox. Handy for things that "work with IE only".

Roboform NOTE: You need to download and install RoboForm to use extension. It keeps all passwords stored encrypted on my computer & not within the browser. I only have to remeber the master password. Roboform can be found Here .

StumbleUpon You "channel surf" websites based on your preferances you set up; can be addictive.

NetcraftToolbar Blocks phishing sites, helping to protect users from online fraud. Saved me a few times from entering information on a bogus Pay Pal site.

BB Tags Makes creating hyperlinks simple.

McAfee Site Advisor Gives plenty of information on a website so you won't interact with a dangerous Web site.

Image Zoom :thumbsup:
https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/139/
[OMG I cant tell you how great this extension is.]
Image Zoom-Walkthrough
http://imagezoom.yellowgorilla.net/install...0.0&new=0.2

Adds zoom functionality for images

Easily zoom in, zoom out, fit image to screen or set custom zoom on individual images within a web page. All this can be done by using the context menu or a combination of mouse buttons and scroll wheel. Handy to see the finer details of smaller pics or to make very large pics fit within your screen

Page Zoom - Zoom all images on a web page with a single command or make all images on a page zoom with the browsers text zoom feature .

Interface is completely customisable

Colorful Tabs 1.4 :flowers:
https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/1368/

The most beautiful yet the simplest add-on that makes a strong colorful appeal. Colors every tab in a different color and makes them easy to distinguish while beautifying the overall appearance of the interface.

For me:

Site Advisor - Great indicator of safe and dodgy sites. Also for IE.

Browster - Opens links without clicking.

DownThemAll - Downloader.

FasterFox - Download time indicator.

TabFX - Adds close button to tabs.

AdBlock

NoScript - Safety.

ForecastFox - Five day weather.

VideoDownloader

Google Web Accelerator.

Am looking at your two Scarlett.

Cheers

My thread was deleted :thumbsup: (runs into a corner a sheds some tears)! Anyways, after reformatting my computer, I couldn't remember what extensions I had so I added the ones that I thought would make Firefox more secure and look like the queen of all browsers:

* Adblock 0.5.3.043
* Adblock Filterset.G Updater 0.3.0.4
* All-In-One Sidebar 0.6.4
* Colorful Tabs 1.4
* Fasterfox 1.0.3
* Fission 0.8.5
* FlashGot 0.5.9.995
* Google Toolbar for Firefox 2.0.20060606W
* Google Web Accelerator 1.0.65.83
* IE Tab 1.0.9.5
* McAfee SiteAdvisor Firefox Extension 22.0
* MR Tech Local Install 5.2
* NoScript 1.1.4.1
* Tab Mix Plus 0.3.0.5
* Update Notifier 0.1.3

My theme is the one and the only: Noia EXTREME.

:thumbsup: Glad you do! It's coincidental that you'd add something from my post, because I added Reload Everything after reading your post along with the image zoom stuff from Scarlett's post! :flowers:
