Who know? How can I play old DOS games under WindowsXP?

i have played old dos games on my windows xp and all i had to do was put in the disc and pull it up and install it like you would on dos.then after its done i select play.thats about all i know about dos gaming sorry,i dought this post helped but im just trying to help and thats what i know.

You will need a special program to slow down your computer to play dos games. With modern pc`s there too fast and if you install a dos game you will notice they run extremly quickly. There are some programs to fix this problem.

Dosbox(download for which ever OS you use such as windows linux etc):

lol thats so funny to read, slow down the computer. Its cool how far we've come since then.

Ever played some bridge builder game (I don't remember it's name) but I have to turn on V-sync or else it's too quick.
