Hi all,

The svchost.exe process on my computer seems to be running rampant with memory usage. I think this is connected to the porn site I visit regularly but I can't be sure. Basically if I visit the site and then come back to the computer after running other applications, i.e.- games, document editing software, iTunes and other such things the computer memory will run up to 99% usage and 1 svchost.exe process will be taking up the majority of it. Others seem to be running up there usage for no reason as well, but so far it seems that there is always one that goes above everyone else.

Usually when this happens I am forced to restart the computer. Sometimes running AVG and/or Spybot S&D will help but I have to restart to get back to normal memory usage. For example, I didn't run AVG but I did a hard shutdown on my PC because memory utilization was at 99%, killing the SVC process at 12 million memory in task manager either didn't work or didn't help so I held down power until computer turned off and restarted. Now everything seems to be fine. Both programs usually find some things to fix but the problem comes back over and over, probably because I watch too much pron. Having that said, I'm not sure if I have a virus or if I just keep getting Malware from my habits.

I am running Windows 7 Pro 64-bit. I keep AVG and Spybot S&D running and use their scanning tools regularly, every couple weeks or so. I also have them set to auto-scan every night but I don't know if they do or not.

Any helps or advices on how I can prevent this from happening and still enjoy nasty pron would be appreciated. I don't know if it matters but I always use the same site when I'm shopping around for something. Thanks!
