Base on what I looked up.  Some say not all portable chargers work for all tablets.  This makes me cautious before buying one.  I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 - Model SM-T230NU.  The charger wire is a USB and connects to my tablet . . .I donno the name of it but it seems to be used for all modern day phones/tablets.  THe battery in the tablet is 4000mAh Battery.

I'm not looking for anything too expensive.  Maybe 20-30 bucks.  Just gives me something to do on trips and for my dad's upcoming surgry (its noting major but its long).

Edit: Moved topic from Which tablet should I buy? to the more appropriate forum.~ Animal

Are you looking for an AC adapter for the USB to Micro USB cord? Or are you looking for an external battery type recharging system?

Something like this will work for you: http://www.amazon.com/Anker-12800mAh-Portable-External-Technology/dp/B00CEZBKTO

Remember that this is more than you want to spend but you're charging a tablet, so the needs are greater than a smartphone.

Anker makes a quality product. I have used them for a few years with zero issues.

I've heard some pretty good reviews from Anker. I think this one would suit your needs: http://www.amazon.com/Anker-7200mAh-Extended-T-Mobile-Cellular/dp/B00GNSJU90

It's in the price range you want as well as around 2x your battery life.
