This is my first pc I've put together. When I boot it up I get the black screen with Mediea test failure, No bootable drive and Insert boot disk. Also see PXE-E61. This is the Intel D945PVS motherboard and Seagate HD 300G/ST ATA 100 hard drive. Can anyone advise to get this going thnaks.

Ok I got it to boot off windows xp and I'm loading windows now. Don't know why it worked this time, but its all good.

Media test failures usually point to the computer looking to boot from a network device.

but its all good.
