good and trusted domain name registration site w/ out hosting?

Wondering if there is a way i can buy (hopefully permanently keep) a domain name for a site.

I own several domains I have yet to create sites for or sell.

I used http://www.1and1.com/ to purchase my domains. Use the registrar of your choice. Many to choose from.

When renewal time comes along be sure and pay the fee and it's going to remain yours.

I have 7 domain names that I store and 2 I use for websites.

You can pay for multiple years or a year at a time.

Freenom is good for free domains, no hosting.
