I have been going this one site for ages and it always worked. Now it is saying my flash player is not working ,so I uninstalled flash player   then reinstalled it .but it did not solve it. also at the bottom of the page (even as I type) there is a box saying, this website wants to run the following add on's.
Adobe flash player, and I can't get rid of it ,at the side there is an  arrow click it and it gives you the option to allow  or allow for all website's.
I have don both but it doesn't do anything .if I click the little cross at the end of the box it goes' off for about 5sec'a then comes back.
any idea's any help would be appreciated.

Hi wickerman :)

What web browser is this happening in, Internet Explorer from the description I can read? Also, does it do the same in another web browser, let's say Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox? Follow the instructions below please.

3Al62Pm.pngMiniToolBox
  • Download MiniToolBox and move the executable file to your Desktop;
  • Right-click on MiniToolBox.exe and select Spcusrh.pngRun as Administrator;
  • Check the following options:
    • List Installed Programs;
    • List Last 10 Event Viewer Errors;
    • List Devices - Only Problems;
    • List Users, Partitions and Memory size;
      wNeKMCX.png
  • Once this is done, click on Go and wait for the scan to complete;
  • Once the scan is complete, a log will open. Please copy/paste the content of the output log in your next reply;

Update Adobe Reader (via the program' updater feature):

https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/install-updates-reader-acrobat.html

Uninstall these programs please:
  • Google Toolbar for Internet Explorer;
What web browser is this happening in, Internet Explorer from the description I can read? Also, does it do the same in another web browser, let's say Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox?

Morning Aura. I have tried every thing to update Adobe reader, but no go. I followed your link got part way through it asked me to turn off I/e.i usually go to task master and end programme but it wasn't running so I asked Google how to turn it off. it told me go to task master and click on process and end I/e from there I did that and lost every thing. I had to turn my computer off at the tower then restart . I have since tried from four different sites but I still cant update. I uninstalled Google tool bar. Like you asked. when I  tried

to update reader again it says it will install Google toolbar as well so I thought this is  the right one but it still failed. So its' back to you my friend.

Is flash palyer working on other website?

What browser are you using?

wickerman, for now uninstall Adobe Reader and I'll help you reinstall it after. What web browser is this happening in, Internet Explorer from the description I can read? Also, does it do the same in another web browser, let's say Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox?

Does the Flash Player works in Internet Explorer? Does it works in Google Chrome? Does it works in Firefox? I'm not asking about "installing" Flash Player or Reader here, simply know if the Player works or not. If you go on Youtube with Google Chrome, are the videos working fine? They should since by default the HTML5 player will be used, not the Flash Player.

  • Depending on which processes are running, all your programs will be closed and explorer.exe (your Windows shell) will be killed, it will however be relaunched shortly after so do not panic;
  • There's no log to give for this tool;
rONW46K.pngReset Internet Explorer Settings
  • Close every open windows of your web browsers (Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Opera, etc.);
  • Click on the Windows Start Menu and select Control Panel;
  • From there, click on Network and Internet and select Internet Options;
  • Go in the Advanced tab and click on Reset...;
  • Check the Delete personal settings checkbox and click on Reset;
  • Once the operation is done, click on the Close button;
Once done, let me know if it still asks you to allow Flash Player on every site you visit.
