So a couple weeks ago I posted this asking for help with a virus...

http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/579421/extremely-irritating-priceless-virus-please-help/#entry3737865

... What I did using Zoek as one user recommended did seem to initially wipe the virus and fix the problem. But sure enough the ads have come back. Now they say "Ads by NoMore Ads" in every box. Previously it said "Ads by PriceLess" and "Ads by Adware Remover". It creates annoying popups everywhere, and sidebar ads, along with interfering with all my google search results by putting useless search recommendations in the page.

I have run a ton of virus scans in safe mode. Uninstalled the software which initially seemed to cause it (it appeared in my list of installed applications). Run ccleaner. Disabled and uninstalled the extension in chrome. Reset chrome. You name it. It still somehow implants itself as a browser extension again every time I remove it.

Help me get rid of this pest please.

Please read the prep guide as linked by boopme in your original topic and post in the Malware Removal Logs section using the instructions in the prep guide.

I will now close this topic to avoid confusion.
