Sony Vaio won't power up or charge

Hey there, I'm the FNG dujour,Nice to meet ya. I'm playing around with older Vista era laptops. I find them usually free and fix em then give them to families around my area that can't afford a computer and give them away. I've found Sony to have power issues but it's mainly been socket at board this PCG 7Z1L won't light off or charge any help would be great p.s. I've been a mechanic for 30 years but only into this about 3yrs

I'm going to assume that you have checked out the battery and the power adapter on other hardware to confirm that they are working.

If so, then it might be the power distribution module, the CPU or the motherboard.
