I am planning on upgrading to Win7 from Vista. I have never had any major problems with my Vista home premium. I do NOT want to lose ANY of my programs or files when I upgrade. I have been reseaching the net and so far I am very worried that I will not be able to purchase a  Win7 (CD) upgrade w/o losing my files and programs. I want to be able to purchase Win7 at a reasonable price and be assured that the upgrade won't reformat my entire H/D. Any links would be helpful.
