I always get the message:

The following media may contain sensitive material. Your media settings are configured to inform you when media may be sensitive.

even though

Do not inform me before showing media that may be sensitive You will see all photos or videos even if they contain sensitive media.

is checked and always has been. removing the checkbox and readding it didn't help nor did logging in and out. both desktop versions, mobile web have this problem as well as the app

I've had this problem ever since signing up for twitter 6 month ago

what gives?

Cleared cache and cookies for Twitter? If that doesn't work, clear all cache and cookies for the browser, restart and check again. If that doesn't work contact Twitter and ask them, would be my suggestion.

The Internet is so big, so powerful and pointless that for some people it is a complete substitute for life.

I cleared the cookies for twitter.com. Problem still remains. I been going to "contact us" and "report a problem" dozens of times in the last 6 months for that problem. with no reply and no fix. Even @twittersupport doesn't answer any of my tweets to them. My own tweets have the same problem. I swear Twitter support is worse than Facebook.
