My mom gave me her work laptop because it got the BSOD. It is now stuck on that, and it is windows 8. I would like to know if there is a way i can possibly fix this, because there is no way to get to the control panel or anything, because this error blocks it. There is no CD or DISK drive for me to instert anything. Any way i can get help?

Windows 8/8.1 has the ability to create startup repair media.

Have you created that media?  Or, do you have access to another Win8/8.1 computer that you can make it from?

It'll take a small USB flash drive (usually less than 1 gB in size) to make the recovery drive (without copying the recovery partition).

Once you've made a startup repair drive, then try this by booting to the startup repair drive that you created:  http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/http-wwwbleepingcomputercom-tutorials-automatically-repair-windows-8-with-automatic-repair-/

My browser caused a flood of traffic, sio my IP address was banned. Hope to fix it soon. Will get back to posting as soon as Im able.
