virus--now no internet

I removed some malware now i can't connect to the internet even after i ran the farbar scanner

Open a command prompt as admin

type in:

netsh winsock reset

 

Then restart your computer

How do i open as admin and i have already done this im just not sure if i did it as admin

Windows 8:

  • Hold down the Windows key and press the X key
  • Choose "Command Prompt(as admin)"

 

Windows 7:

  • Go into your start menu
  • In the search bar type in cmd
  • Right click on the CMD icon and run as administrator
