My laptop has recently recovered from a malware infection as per http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/575624/removed-rootkit-and-idp-trojan-is-cleanup-complete/
Now, I am unable to complete backups. I am using a new WD 2TB hard drive.
The last error I received is as attached when I used a USB 2.0 port.
I initially suspected a problem with WD drives as there is a known issue with using the USB 3.0 port for transferring of large files. The error I received was Access is denied, 0x80070005.
However, now I'm not too sure what the problem is.
