Malwarebytes Anti-Malware (MBAM) v2.1.7.1055 has been released 16-June-2015.

Announcement: https://forums.malwarebytes.org/index.php?/topic/169387-malwarebytes-anti-malware-update-to-217/#entry969504

As usual, the upgrade will be throttled out.

If you want the upgrade earlier, eventually v2.1.7.1055 will appear at https://downloads.malwarebytes.org/file/mbam/ but it's not there as this is posted.

The old person (OP) that corrected the link should have left a polite edit note - instead he was sent to bed... :(

Managed to install it on top of my current installation without any problem :) Everything went smooth, like always with Malwarebytes (for me)!

Not everyone will automatically receive the update unless configured to do so since this feature is optional.

Under Update settings...folks have the option to check for program updates when checking for database updates, or limiting the check to database updates only.

Hello All:

Within the last our of this post, an urgent MBAM2 release (v2.1.8.1057) was made that resolves "a potential crash when scanning that had to do with how we were parsing digital signatures."

The throttled upgrades have been reset. If your system was at v2.1.7.1055, it will auto-upgrade. If at v2.1.4.1018 Premium, your system will still be queued for the v2.1.8.1057 upgrade.

Cheers

Hi, 1PW:

You wrote:

I think that you may have intended to say "2.1.4.1018 or GREATER", to include those users already on version 2.1.6.1022, as explained here?

This release is limited to users updating from Malwarebytes Anti-Malware 2.1.4 or greater to start, so we don’t have a direct download link to share right now.  I will update this topic with a way to access the full download once we’re ready to do so.

Cheers, MM

One reason the Malwarebytes Support Team is among the best.
