For some time now i have been experiencing crackles and distorted sound when listening to mp3's via VLC, have tried allsorts of suggestions to cure this but nothing seems to work.
Have now tracked it down to interfence from the internet, if I close down my router the audio is near perfect, as soon as I switch it back on again I have distorted sound.
Any thoughts please how I can sort this out, thanks.

Can you try another router?

If not, can you try the computer at an internet cafe/wifi hotspot?

My browser caused a flood of traffic, sio my IP address was banned. Hope to fix it soon. Will get back to posting as soon as Im able.

Your onboard sound solution is badly isolated, you need to get another soundcard, either internal or USB
