My rig :

 

Intel Core i5 4460
8.00GB Dual-Channel DDR3
Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd. P85-D3T
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760
power supply Couger 700W

Monitor 20 inch samsung lcd

 

all i need is 10 minutes when the power goes out ( happen a lot in egypt ) and protection from increase in electricity  

 

is 1100 VA good for me ??

The 1100 VA unit should work fine for that ten minute period.  It is important that the unit be provided with a "good" ground as that's where any surges will be directed to  protect the equipment.

Damn, sometimes we forget how lucky we are that we mostly don't need a UPS in west for home computing. Good luck with your purchase.
