I was thinking of getting a new laptop because what i have right now is really bad. I can't go for a desktop since i need it for school too for things like word, powerpoint, and etc. So pretty much basics that any normal computer could do. At the same time i wanted something to play games like WoW and maybe others but i doubt it. So after searching for awhile i am thinking of getting:

Lenovo Y5

Item Weight - 5.29 pounds

Processors - Core i7 4700HQ 2.4 GHz

Operating System - Windows 8.1

Memory - 8 GB DDR3

Storage - 1000 GB 5400 rpm

Graphics Coprocessor - NVIDIA GeForce GTX 860M

15.6” Full HD (1920 x 1080)

For me, it looks great since the design looks pretty sweet and the specs are pretty good. If i end up getting it, I'm going to upgrade it's RAM to a 16GB. Now i could also opt for Ultra HD (4k), would that be a good improvement? However, If you guys have other suggestions please post them, it would be very nice!

That looks like a decent laptop to me. I almost bought a Lenovo a couple years ago, but instead had one built by one of those online places. The Lenovo I looked at had dual video cards, no DVD, I wanted a DVD.
