good afternoon to all,

i am running windows xp sp3 32 bits and i have some problems with my sony programs,
sony acid, sony vegas

the programs cannot be started due to a problem with the windows media manager and the microsoft sql server

i do not know if the windows media manager and the sql is a part of the sony programs i am running or windows

i have used tweaking.com utility to repair my windows files but nothing was done

it seems that only sony use the microsoft sql server and media manager

many thanks in advance

hi dear hamluis

i thank you so much for your quick reply

unfortunately, earlier tonight i have uninstalled most of my programs (sony acid, sony vegas, sony media manager)

furthermore i have deleted all the reg entries related to microsoft sql server, sony acid, sony vegas, i have deleted also all the previous restored points

i will try to repair my windows installation with the newer version of the tweaking.com utility

if i still have problem i will try to reinstall windows (without format)

...after that i will try your program
