Hackintoshes are a great thing I must say. Affordable and great to use! But is a pest to set up and yes it does require using tools like the so-called NawcomsModCD, Unibeast, iboot and Niresh. The reason why I say Hackintoshes are great and trust me because some of my I.T experts at school definitely have Hackintoshes installed on their own PC's. It's a very tricky task to actually to set it up I have to get an ISO version of OS X Mavericks from the actual Mac Store and wait a while to download typically 4.9GB to download but once it's done the actual fun begins!
But Before I tell you how fun it is there is something I want to tell all of you about the tools and how they work:
NawcomsmodCD: Yeah you probably need an Intel PC based Computer to do this but this tool is actually a bootloader so when you boot from it you need to swap the disk over to the actual copy of OS X, but for some reason you'll be greeted with a ISO Linux Error.
iboot: Same as Nawcoms you need an Intel-Based PC to do this, And it's the exact same steps as Nawcom but I won't go into that!
Unibeast: This is a bit different to Intel, but you can install OS X onto an AMD CPU! Again I'm not going to go through this as iboot.
Niresh: Niresh is a modified version of OS X it's unoriginal and not-genuine copy it also comes from torrent sites which is infested with nasties and critters that will haunt your PC for life! Also torrenting is not good for such a large I.T community.
The reason why I said that this process is fun is because i'm actually doing this on an AMD CPU FX-6300 which is good since it's hard and is good for my level of expertise and I.T knowledge anyway it is a very long and hard process so dattebayo! and if you're thinking of building a hackintosh there are lots of guides on the Internet.
