Hi guys have an Asus x55a, keyboard has become unresponsive. For a day or so before, when pressed it would enter random spaces before characters and extra characters at random. Had a serious malware virus which required a complete reset (win8.0) keyboard remains unresponsive and a passmark keyboard test shows no life. USB keyboard working fine. Cursor mousepad working ok too. Any further test that I can carry out before replacing??

I suspect that you can do more testing but I would not expect the results to be different - replace the keyboard without further frustration :thumbup2:

You could always try a different computer to test, preferably with a different version of Windows or what ever you use.
