Sorry for another thread like this but i'm looking for an answer for a week now and i can't figure this out.
So, i'm running the configuration below and i get as expect heavily bottlenecked by my 5yo cpu. I was planning to get 8350 and asked on 3 other boards if it's a good upgrade. I linked the threads below but tl;dr is:
The opinions are mixed, the benchmarks are mixed, the gap in performance between 8350 and 4690k changes drastically between benchmarks.
My questions are:
1. Is it a good upgrade from my 1055t@3,5?
2. Will this upgrade eliminate bottleneck i'm experiencing right now?
I won't be able to overclock for now becouse of my cooler/psu but once i replace them i will.
threads: (they mention sli because i'm planning to get another 970 when one is not enough, that's in 2-3 years from now i think so don't worry about it too much)

I'm running The Witcher 3 and Assassin's Creed Unity, both on their highest settings or near highest settings at 1920 x 1200, with an FX-8150 and a GTX 980 and have good results.  You should be fine.
