Mod Edit:  Split from http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/575176/computer-randomly-restarting-kernel-power-41-bugcheckcode-257 - Hamluis.

I have the same problem. I followed the instructions from a separate thread: however when I went to cmd admin and typed perfmon / report : I got this notification:

"An error occured while attempting to generate the report. The operator or administrator has refused the request." What seems to be the problem :(

Hi, this was already cleared up, there was a bug according to the person who instructed me to do perfmon. Thank you.

Please provide this information so we can provide a complete analysis (from the Pinned Topic at the top of the forum):  http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/576314/blue-screen-of-death-bsod-posting-instructions-windows-10-81-8-7-vista/

Don't worry about the perfmon report - but we do need the other report/files.
