I was just cruisin' along and all of a sudden my Microsoft Blue Track mouse model 1362 just up and froze. Poor little critter.

I started to download the driver for it from MS, but it said I have an even newer version of it already on my machine.

I had to shut the machine down and restarted. Still won't work.

I plugged a wired usb mouse in and it's workin fine.

What's going on here?

That mouse is a wireless mouse.

Besides changing the batteries, you can try putting the transceiver in a different USB port to see if that will get it to working.

It is also possible that the transceiver has quit working.
