Hi pchacker100 :)

They drivers you are looking for are below. Simply download them and install them, then restart your computer.

http://h20564.www2.hp.com/hpsc/swd/public/detail?sp4ts.oid=4065890&swItemId=vc_98876_1&swEnvOid=4058

If you cannot install them, let me know, I'll post the workaround.

They will work on Windows 8.1 as well. Since there's no drivers for Windows 8.1 for your computer, and for the Windows 8 ones, there's no graphic drivers. Simply run the .exe to extract its content and launch the installation. If it doesn't work because the system type isn't supported, let me know and I'll explain the work around.

Alright. Follow the instructions below to go in your Device Manager.

mYEYEX7.pngDevice Manager
Follow the instructions below for your version of Windows to open the Device Manager;
  • On Windows XP, right-click on My Computer, then go to the Hardware tab and click on Device Manager;
  • On Windows Vista and Windows 7, open the Windows Start Menu, right-click on Computer and select Properties;
  • On Windows 8, bring your cursor in the bottom-left corner of the screen, wait for the metro preview to show then right-click on it and select Device Manager;
  • On Windows 8.1, right-click on the Windows logo in the bottom-left corner of the screen and select Device Manager;
  • From the System window, click on Device Manager in the left pane;
Once in it, go under Display Adapters, right-click on the device that shows up and select Update drivers. From there, pick the second option which is to choose manually the location to get the drivers from. In the path, enter: C:\swsetup\sp54817 and click on Next. The drivers should install automatically.

Oh wow, I confused 1002 for the Intel VEN ID, my mistake. Intel is 8086, 1002 is AMD. Still not fully awake. These are the drivers you are looking for:

Restart your computer, and then go back in the Device Manager. What's the name of the display adapter now?
