So I just noticed a little icon at the bottom of my screen:

It's legit. I got it this morning and I'm pretty sure my Windows 7 Ultimate computer is clean.

A member of the MRT got this also, he and I talked a while about it.

I have the same thing In my Windows 7 service pack 1 system tray, just appeared on May 31.

It's legit and reserves your installation for a future update and download of Windows 10.

It is up to you if you wish to upgrade to the Windows 10 release candidate for free.

You have to admit though, never before has Microsoft offered a free Operating System update for an earlier licensed copy of Windows. With the exception of Windows 8.0 upgrade to 8.1 of course.
