There's a difference between "tools" and "programs". Do you want to know our favorite Antivirus products/programs, or malware removal tools/programs?

Per the topic title...many vendors provide specialized removal tools to deal with various infections and have them available for download on their website.

Since it's still unclear to me ...

As free Antivirus, I favorite avast! and Avira. I'm ready to give Bitdefender another chance but I'll have to test it first. As for malware removal tools, I like ESET Online Scanner, Malwarebytes, Emsisoft Emergency Kit, AdwCleaner, JRT, RogueKiller and FRST. That's pretty much it I guess.
