I broke the laptop screen, but I have been using with another monitor. all the sudden the computer started to go into diagnosing an automatic repair mode and the only way I can get anything to come up on the screen is to shut the laptop.I'm trying to figure out how to get the computer out of the diagnosing loop and do a full resetbut I'm kind of stumped because nothing will come up on the screen. any help would be greatly appreciated

What happens when you force restart the computer 3 times?

Do you have recovery disks?  If not, contact the manufacturer for recovery media that you can boot from.

How to Create a "System Repair Disc" (CD/DVD) in Windows 8

You probably have to go through the diagnosing an automatic repair mode procedure

--- Then you’ll also be able to let us know what it reports
