Hello all,

This site has always steered me in the right direction, so I am going to come once again, and ask the opinion of those here what is more than likely a simple question.

Not long ago, my work upgraded my pc from a very used ASUS laptop to a Windows Surface Pro 3 with the i5 processor, Windows 8.1.  My biggest complaint so far, aside from the strain on the eyes after getting used to a 15" laptop screen is this...  1 little ol' USB port.  I am not a touch-pad fan.  Never have been.  Always use an external mouse.  Problem is, a lot of files I access regularly are on an external drive.

I have read that some 3.0 hubs interfere with wireless mice.  I have a SeaGate portable drive that runs on USB power alone that is 3.0.  Any suggestions on what type of hub I should look into?  All comments welcome.

From my understanding (I could be very wrong) you will want one that has its own power supply.  I would do a little research on ones that have there own ps.  This will ensure that all of your devices that are connected have ample power to run!
