I cannot connect to my hotel's wireless although normally this should be easy.

The connection appears and you just put in the password the hotel manager gives you. But I get the following message. and there is a red X next to the hotel connection name in the internet connection window.

"The settings saved on this computer do not match the requirements of the network."

But I have combed the settings that I know of and do not what to change.  I have reset to microsoft's default.

Any help appreciated.

This video seems to have the answer.

Thanks JohnC

(I wish I could save the video with a program that was not filled with malware.)

If you have Firefox you can use the extension called Flash Video Downloader. You may have to select customize in firefox to drag the icon to the menu bar. When it sees a flash video on the page the arrow turns blue and you can download the video.

This would looks like it bundles a lot of other stuff. Am I mistaken?
