Is there any tool like FRST, that allows you to delete listed directories/files/registry keys, but that I can use to help other users? Since only some members of this forum are allowed to help people with FRST?

Or can I give fixlists to users based on their antivirus scanner logs (not FRST logs)?

I'm talking about fixlists that would just include "CloseProcesses", "EmptyTemp:" and some registry keys and files/folders that have been detected by scanners like HitmanPro.

Hi there,

FRST does not work that way, not to mention that you are not allowed to use FRST and similar logging tools outside of the Malware Removal Logs area.

If you wish to learn how to remove malware, I would recommend the Malware Removal Training Program.

Hello and welcome to the Am I Infected areas -

Please read Instructions for posting advice in Am I Infected Forum for detailed instructions on what is allowed by "General Members"

This outlines what can and can not be used for simple fixes and diagnostics.

If all members jumped in and used severe programs (like you mention) we would harm more computers than we do fix.

More severely infected computers need to be forwarded to the Virus, Trojan, Spyware, and Malware Removal Logs forum, area.

This is not a subject to be debated, but a fact of how this forum operates .

Thank You ..

Yes there are other tools but their use is not permitted outside the Virus, Trojan, Spyware, and Malware Removal Logs forum.

Thanks, but I'm already aware of that guide. I only know how to delete keys, folders and files, and use CloseProcesses:, DeleteQuarantine: and EmptyTemp:. When I have some time maybe I'll learn about the huge amount of commands FRST offers.

Yes there are other tools but their use is not permitted outside the Virus, Trojan, Spyware, and Malware Removal Logs forum.

I see.
