Hi,

i'm also infected with the TrustCleaner malware. I'm quite an experienced computer engineer (studied artificial intelligence) but can't get this fixed. Hope someone can help .

After I deinstalled all TrustIn and TrustCleaner stuff from the Add/Remove Programs some things remained. I deleted files from the Windows\ and Windows\system32 folders called tctool.exe and tpopup.exe. This solves the problem, but my browser is still hacked. Google redirects all search results to a page in the //se-cash.net domain. After that somehow TrustCleaner is reinstalled to my pc again. This begins with the start of tctool.exe that calls regshv32.exe (a windows thing I believe) to modify the registery.

//Mod edit to modify URL above to protect other//

How can I get this completely fixed?

Hello,

* Start HijackThis, close all open windows leaving only HijackThis running. Place a check against each of the following:

O2 - BHO: SpoofBHO Class - {07A78AEA-4A54-4967-9A60-4B68592D30C7} - C:\WINDOWS\se_spoof.dll
O2 - BHO: WeeklyExecuter Class - {590FFB84-6A29-4797-9C0E-B15DF2C4CDCB} - C:\WINDOWS\inetloader.dll

* Click on Fix Checked when finished and exit HijackThis.
Make sure your Internet Explorer is closed when you click Fix Checked!

Reboot and post a new log in your next reply.
